Matthew’s sudden death in 2016 generated the long term challenge of bringing together, cataloguing and saving his wide-ranging and unique personal archive. This work is on-going and has extended into work on a film about Matthew’s life and art which hopefully will be completed in 2019. Thank you to those people who are giving advice and practical support with the archive including Janet Axten, Art 360, Martin Lanyon, and more recently James Barry.
